Terrible Ted

Chancing a look of deepness
we did see
our confounded eachness of thee

self consuming fires
burn tending hands
with love's lost light

we be damned
t'is true
with all our might

The Legend of Terrible Ted

Pen & Ink Drawing - 6.5" x 5"
Framed & Glazed - 8.5" x 11"

Ted resided in the Slocan Valley from 1969 into the mid 90s. He was 'terrible' to get along with. Filled with recriminations, anger and guilt, he lashed out at anyone within reach for years. He eventually took his Ruger .44 and committed suicide, a good decision from his standpoint. I think he thought it was honorable, too.
