This mobile was made out of 1/4" thick plexiglass.

Two equine contours were drawn, cut and fitted in the midsecction in such a way so as to maintain a balance that would support the hangings of various additional pieces.

The hanging sections were painted with a special ink that adheres well to plastic. The painting on the sides of the smaller hanging pieces was applied with a small natural bristle brush (not synthetic...) 1/2 of horse on each side. This way when viewed, each piece displays half of a well defined image alongside of a hint of the image on the opposite side.

When moved with a slight breeze, the hangings seem to animate as they rotate back and forth like running in the fog.
