Water Color - 27" x 41"

Ravensburg, in Austria, is noted for it's architecture which dates from the Middle Ages.

I was particularly aware of the play of light in this scene and it's counter play upon the surfaces of the buildings. The surrounding environment punctuates the geometric shapes with it's random ordering.

This piece was done on pre WWII smooth, high rag content paper.
