Accentuating the contrast of the silouetted thinning cottonwood trees was the primary aim of this piece.

Despite a good south-blowing wind, a small boat forced it's way towards it's northern destination. Whle working this piece, I became aware of the cold wetness of the lake.

This is also a 'wet' water color...
